Purposeful and Intentional Influence
By Tupili Caleb Ronak Everyone has their struggles when it particularly comes to caring for children. It requires patience and what I would like to call "ACTIVE mentorship" not PASSIVE mentorship. Every child is unique, and at their stage of life, they are learning from those who are placed in a position of leadership above them. I have witnessed mentorship first hand.................................. Noel Lim's Perspective on ICCFSICCFS helps both speakers and evaluators present at the event. In order to clinch awards and invitations to International Convention, speakers have to train rigourously and faithfully. Sharpening their skills with each practice, speakers continually improve till Tournament Day arrives. Feedback from fellow speakers, the speaker's family members, and even the speaker himself aid in seeking out problematic or unfluent spots for further improvement. Through this process, all speakers gain invaluable training in all aspects of public speaking. Evaluators also have much to learn and glean from their ICCFS experience. Contrary to other evaluators or judges in other events, ICCFS trains evaluators to seek out spots of potential improvement instead of crippling flaws in a presentation. This positive mindset focuses on giving encouraging, constructive feedback -- feedback that helps the speaker not hurt him. Though it may seem an easy or even insignificant task, the evaluator has to remain attentive throughout all presentations and give deep, contemplative critiques based on a strict criteria. This way, both the speaker and evaluator would benefit from ICCFS.
