Purpose
“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Discussion questions:
1. What communities are you a part of?
2. How did you become part of that community and what changed for you when you joined that community?
3. In today’s verse, How does Jesus say we can have peace with Him and be part of His community, the Kingdom of Heaven?
Purpose

Games run by Noel Lim
Activity: (10 min) Cooperation Challenge - Exclusive Grouping Now we are going to make the cooperation game more challenging by not making it possible for everyone to be in a group. We are going to learn that sometimes cooperation means that we step in to see the whole group successful and other times we need to step out to see the whole group successful. At first, the whole group was trying to stay 'in the game' and find a group at other's expense. This game was effective in teaching all of us that cooperation is key to team building. |

Father's Perspective by Mr. Ban Hong
This week, the father's perspective was focused on facing and battling our fears. It is easy to fear something, but it is hard to overcome fear. Mr. Ban Hong distributed threads and started naming fears. If we feared that specific 'thing' we had to tie a knot on the string. After that we were given the task to undo as many knots as possible in thirty seconds. On an average, every string had roughly 5-6 knots.
